Tributes
  1. I feel so blessed to be able to have so many memories with Dave, he has been apart of many milestone events and has been apart of our life for a very long time.
My heart is heavy not being able to be there to farewell him however I am so thankful for knowing him and having him apart of our lives and will celebrate his life. Rest easy old Dave x

  2. I’m not sure when or how Old Dave became apart of our lives, but I do know he has always been there. Every significant birthday I would receive a card with $20 and he would be so proud of me as if I was his own child. We could always count on him to be there regardless of the circumstance. I won’t be able to sit outside the back of mum and dads without thinking of Dave walking down to the house with a big grin, excited to see us.
I am heartbroken to have someone be apart of all my milestones and achievements to not be able to witness my biggest achievement and that’s to meet our baby girl, Brydie Rose. At least I know she has been blessed with a guardian angel who can watch over all her milestones, just like he did with me.
We will truly miss not having you there Dave, but I will find comfort in the great memories we have of you.

  3. Dear Dave
We don’t want to believe that this is happening and you have been taken away from us. There will definitely be a huge empty void in our lives . You were always there ..pottering around the yard , sorting out the big shed and staying in the little houseboat when necessary .
You have been huge part of our lives and the ilives of our children – you old fashioned ways and old fashioned gifts will be treasured and remembered forever . You have been a part of many if not every significant occasions 16th, 21st, 50th engagements, our strength when we had to say good bye to Pip. There are so many things you where a part of – to many to mention .
You would drop everything to be there to help when and if I needed help. Your were more than a friend you were a part of our family . We are so heartbroken we aren’t all there to farewell you but Dylan will be there for you and us .

To your family we send all our love and strength to help them through this sad time. May we all find comfort one day in all of the fabulous memories we have made with you over the years
    All our Love

  4. My memories of David go back to Forest Lodge with David , the 2 Pauls and myself riding bikes and scooters down the hill in the street, then the back streets of Sydenham around the mill, then running around the farm at Ourimbah, canoeing in the lake at The Entrance, good fun years as kids and teenagers, RIP David.
