  4. Dear Karen, Paul and Deirdre & families,

I was so sorry to hear that your dear Dad had passed away. Hamish and Theresa were the best neighbours at Sutherland’s Creek to my young and growing family in the late 1990’s and through the next decade.

Hamish always had a project on the go, fixing engines, planting trees or pushing over boxthorns and weeds. Also, spending hours with their beautiful grandchildren. Theresa always had time for a cuppa and a lovely chat.

We’d often accidentally meet with me in gumboots chasing a mob of cows in the creek because the fences were awful or washed away in the last flood.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your precious Dad and Grandfather, Hamish.

    Regards and best wishes,

    Michaela Holroyd & family,
    (Past neighbour in Robbs Road)

  9. To Hamish’s family

So sorry to hear of Hamish’s passing.

As a female apprentice motor mechanic back in the late eighties, I had the privilege of getting to know Hamish then as one of my trade school teachers at the Geelong East Technical School. I still remember him as my favorite teacher there, always smiling, patient and informative.

    Lovely service. RIP Hamish.
