Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family at Mildura Base Public Hospital, on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Loved and loving husband of Evelyn (dec).

Loved father and father-in-law of Carol and Nigel, Ann and Reece, Mathew, Julie and Brian.

Adored grandfather of Ashley, Ellen, Jackson, Cooper, Rebekah, Alicia, Alex, Brooke, Georgie (dec), Chloe and Zara. Great-grandfather to Ari and Naia.

Son of James and Lila, Loved brother of Margaret (dec), Peter (dec) and Jim.

Funeral Notice

In keeping with Ian's wishes, a private burial will be held.

Ian's children would like to extend an invitation to anyone who wish to pay their respects, to join the family in a celebration of Ian's life at Ann's home in Mildura on Wednesday, February 25, at 5pm.

    Ian was such great company, a very kind and generous man and he often had an entertaining yarn to tell.
    We were always delighted to return home to find a watermelon at our front door. Even better to be at home when Ian called.
    He will be sadly missed.
