Tributes
  1. Our heartfelt condolences on your loss. Our love and thoughts are with you. Luciano and Angela and all the Galati family. Xx

    Angela Galati April 30, 2020
  2. A more selfless woman I have never met who lived and loved for her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Jan set the example to all that have kindness, care and love in their hearts of how important it is to be giving to others, she lived her life that way and died that way and I Richard Gamble, as her son-in-law and husband to her equally selfless and beautiful daughter in Denina, am a richer person for having known her, loved you dearly Jan and along with your beloved Otto you will never be forgotten and remain close to my heart.

  3. Zia Giannina remains a big part of our lives as our favourite auntie, our Mum’s much loved big sister and our Dad’s precious sister-in-law. We will always remember her generosity and love for our family. She will be forever in our hearts. Rest In Peace.

  4. When I was growing up, I never realised how important it was to have such a close relationship with my grandparents. My amazing mother would always make the effort even though they lived so far away. I will be forever grateful for her doing so. My Nonna was loving person who gave an enormous amount of kindness to everyone she knew, especially her family.
Whenever I watch home and away, I’ll think of you Nonna.
When ever it’s cold and I put on my bed socks, I’ll think of you Nonna.
Whenever I look at my mother and Aunty Marisa, I’ll think of you Nonna.
Give Nonno’s hand a tight squeeze for me.
    I will always love you.

  6. Giovanna welcomed everyone with open arms and always asked how they were. Giovanna always made me feel one of the family with her cheerful hello and smile. She was always straight with me telling what was good or what was a load of rubbish. Miss her already. Riposi in pace. Errico and the Colaci Family.

  7. When we moved into Mildura, and upon arrival at James Cook Drive, Giovanna “Jane” was standing at the front of her house waving “Hello”. We approached her and introduced ourselves. She thought we were Italians because of our black hair. She was very polite, and from that day onwards, she used to sit in the garage every day in the morning until we see each other. My wife and I used to go and have a chat with her, and she encouraged us to visit her especially when she knew that we don’t have relatives in Mildura. She decided to give us as much support as she could, as she went through the same situation when she came to Mildura with her family. We started visiting Jane on daily basis and she became an improvement member in our family, eventually she accepted our invitation to come to our house, and that’s how our relationship started. Jane became a mum for us and a Nonna for our kids. Since we’ve met her and her family, we no longer felt isolated in Mildura, she became part of our family and we always loved and respected her and her family.

She’s such a nice, loveable and generous person. She used to force us go and buy gifts for our kids on their birthdays and pay us back, she loved them as if they were her actual grandson and daughters.
My wife used to visit her frequently and Jane loved her, and enjoyed sharing thoughts with her. She also used to call my wife when I was away travelling and ask if they needed anything.

We love you Jane, we’ll never forget you, you’ll be in our hearts for many many years to come.

Our deepest condolences to every one, our thoughts are with you all in this stressful and sad time.

May the lord have mercy on her soul. May she RIP

  9. Condolences to Marisa and all her loving family ! Your mum is so lucky to have such a loving family who cared for her until the end in her own home. Although our mums may have met once, your mum knitted some warm socks for ours. She was so generous from afar! She may have left this earthly world, but her spirit lives on in her children and her children’s children. Rest In Peace from the Colin, Maria, Sean, Carmen, Nina, Frank and Maria

  10. Giannina you were more than a close friend you were family. We cherish all the times spent together. You and my Mum Rita shared a special bond and friendship and she looked up to you like a big sister. You spent many days cooking together and making biscuits and much more for all the family to enjoy. My Mum loved, respected and cared for you and you were grateful for everything she did for you. Mum will miss her daily visits and phone calls with you immensely.
Giannina you were a loving Nonna to me and I’ll miss making you coffee and having a biscuit or 2 together.
Our hearts are broken but we will hold on to all the love and memories we shared. Your now reunited with dear Ottavio. We love and miss you. Rest In Peace dear Giannina.
Sending love, strength and our deepest sympathy to Joe and Glenda, Angelo and Lyn, Marissa and Errico, Denina and Richard, Enio and Danielle and all the grandchildren and great children xx

  11. If roses grow in heaven
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my mother’s arms
And tell her they’re from me.

Tell her I love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while.

    Because remembering her is easy
    I do it everyday,
But there’s an ache within my heart
    That will never go away..

Love you mum ❤ say hi to dad..
