OATEY, Edwin ‘Ted’
102 years old.
Born 24th July, 1917 – passed away peacefully at Chaffey Aged Care on the 8th February, 2020.
Dearly loved son of the late Thomas and Alicia Oatey (nee Thompson). Beloved brother to Hazel, Albert (Doug), John, Leonard (Len), Alicia, and Thomas Jnr. (all dec). Loved uncle to Annetta (Netta) and Albert (dec) Wilkie. Loved great uncle to Daryl and Catherine Wilkie, Brenton and Brandy Wilkie, Greg and Vicki Wilkie and families. Loved cousin to Max (dec) and Ann Thompson. Adored and loved cousin and uncle to Nerine and Chris Waters, John and Kathy Thompson and families.
Loved and adored. An inspiration to us all.
Funeral NoticeRelatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service for the late Mr. Ted Oatey to be held in the Chapel of North West Funerals on Saturday, 15th February, 2020 commencing at 10am. Following the service the cortege will proceed to Murray Pines Lawn Cemetery for interment. If preferred, in lieu of flowers donations to Chaffey Aged Care would be appreciated and may be made at the service.
To a great old neighbour. You were one of a kind Ted, a true gentleman. We will miss you dearly. ‘Til we meet again Old boy- Troy, Rachael, Khiana, Declan and Jett Belsham.
