Born on October 18, 1927. Passed away February 27, 2023.

Passed away in Robinvale 2023 aged 95 years. Loved and loving wife of William ‘Red’ McGinty (dec). Beloved daughter of Ernest and Vera Wilde (both dec). Loved sister of Elva (dec), Iris and Trevor. Loved and special aunt, great aunt and friend to many.

Will be sadly missed.

Funeral Notice
St Peter's Anglican Church 244 Bromley Rd, Robinvale

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Valerie's funeral service to be conducted at St Peter's Anglican Church, 244 Bromley Rd, Robinvale, on Tuesday, March 7, commencing at 10.30 am. The cortege will then proceed to Robinvale Cemetery for interment.

  2. Dearest Val, your beautiful smile and comforting voice will be sadly missed. You and Bill opened up your home for me when I first moved to Robinvale and the hospitality you showed was amazing. You made my transition into a new town easy and soon became my adopted grandparents. 10 years later our little catch up cuppas will be missed and our endless laughter together will not be forgotten.

  5. We are so sad to learn of the passing of Val Mcginty, a beautiful lady, Bill and herself were great friends when myself and Mary first came to Robinvale in 1995. We were planning to chat with her on St Patrick’s day! Our sympathies to her family. We will miss her dearly.
