LOWE, Charles William James ‘Charlie’
Charlie passed away peacefully in Mildura on September 28, 2022, aged 79 years. Loved husband of Ludy. Loving father of Margaret, Susan, Christine, Donna, and their partners. An adored ‘Pop’ to 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Charlie was a much-loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to so many.
Funeral NoticeFamily and friends are respectfully invited to attend Charlie’s graveside funeral service at the Red Cliffs Lawn Cemetery, Millewa Rd, Red Cliffs, on Friday October 7, 2022, commencing at 3pm.
Condolences to the family on the passing of Charles. Regret that I can’t attend the funeral as I am in quarantine.

One incident of life in Dacelo Avenue: as neighbours, we noticed that the channel water was beginning to take on a foul odour. I took a walk along the main channel and found a large roo floating near one of the bridges. On hearing this, Charlie drove his backhoe to the spot and attempted to lift it out. Unfortunately the carcass fell to pieces. The job took far longer than expected, but eventually enough was removed to improve the water quality.
