  8. Forever with the Lord where there are no more tears or sorrow, may this hope be your comfort and strength in the passing of your mother and friends. Mrs Nola Kornebone taught my children for only one year but the impact that she left was for life. I remember her sense of humour very well. Please accept our condolences. Absent from the body present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5: 8

  9. Nola was such a blessing to me personally in my younger days. To God I will always be grateful. Her testimony and her life remind me of the words of a beautiful song called “Find Us Faithful”, by Jon Mohr.
    Find Us Faithful
    Verse 1
    We’re pilgrims on the journey
    Of the narrow road
And those who’ve gone before us
    Line the way
    Cheering on the faithful
    Encouraging the weary
    Their lives a stirring testament
    To God’s sustaining grace

    Verse 2
    Surrounded by so great
    A cloud of witnesses
    Let us run the race
    Not only for the prize
But as those who’ve gone before us
Let us leave to those behind us
    The heritage of faithfulness
    Passed on through godly lives

    Chorus
Oh may all who come behind us
    Find us faithful
May the fire of our devotion
    Light their way
May the footprints that we leave
    Lead them to believe
    And the lives we live
Inspire them to obey (to obey)
(Oh may all who come behind us)
    (Find us faithful)

    Verse 3
After all our hopes and dreams
    Have come and gone
And our children sift through all
    We’ve left behind
May the clues that they discover
    And the mem’ries they uncover
Become the light that leads them
To the road we each must find

    Ending
    Find us faithful
Oh may all who come behind us
    Find us faithful
