Kurt, I’ll always be grateful you were there as a wonderful childhood best friend to my brother. I remember you both playing endless N64 games, eating chips and spending hours on the trampoline. You were kind, quiet (and often I didn’t notice you were over until I heard you make a random gaming sound effect ha) and every now and then you were a cheeky second little brother too.

Glad our paths got to cross again once more recently. I really enjoyed seeing you and having lots of laughs in the backyard after all of these years. Rest easy Kurt.

You will be missed mate

Kurt started off as a guy I met at a party. He was kind of crazy and wild but we ended up having a bit of a chat and added each other on Facebook. Within a week, I had invited him to come and live with myself and my ex partner Jeremy who knew Kurt from school and the same social circles.
I would never give up the time that Kurt and I spent together. He quickly went from that nice chap I impulsively invited to move in, to my best friend and adventure buddy. Where there was me, there was you. You met my family and they thought you were great. I will never forget you always trying to slide in with my mum. We had so so many amazing adventures together that I will never forget.
Even when you were super loud with your drumming, drunk and yelling player Counter Strike, feeding me alcohol or chilli, I couldn’t be mad at you.
Even though you eventually got too busy to reply to me, I am so happy that you finally found your soul mate and had a wonderful life.
I will never forget you sweet octopus prince.

Bless you Kurt. You were my welcoming into the beer industry and made it such a welcoming space. I am ever thankful for you kindness and endless ability to support – be that in genuine support or ripping the piss.
Rest in Power.
