GOWERS, Wesley Michael ‘Wes’

Wes passed away at his home in Merbein on June 2, 2021, aged 65 years. Adored father of Rebekah and Tommas. Loved son of George (dec) and Eileen. Wes was a brother and brother-in-law of Suellen and Stephen, and Brent and Carolyn. He was a much-loved uncle, cousin and mate to many.

Family and friends of the late Mr Wes Gowers are respectfully invited to attend his Graveside service at the Merbein Lawn Cemetery, Wentworth Road, Merbein on Friday June 11, 2021, commencing at 2:00 pm.

Due to the current imposed COVID-19 restrictions, please be advised that attendee numbers may be restricted.  Please contact North West Funerals to register your interest in attending.

  6. I recall Wesley as the happy, friendly, playful youth and neighbour to us in the early years we spent in Mildura with his close, loving family.
    For years I believed him to be the “Elvis”, I never met, due to their striking similarity….. But also wondered, did he have the voice or the him moves too?
    I see from the photo above that through the years he grew very similar to his wonderful Dad, dear Uncle George.
    Wesley’s support over the years to his family, especially Aunty Eileen will sorely be missed and memories treasured.
    We will be thinking of you all tomorrow and send our deepest condolences to Aunty Eileen and all her family.

  9. My sister (Roslyn) and dad (Ross) have almost mention all the wonderful memories we share of dear Wesley. I recall his twinkly, cheeky eyes and his delight in getting a chuckle out of everyone.
    A kind and generous soul, who loved his family and friends dearly.
