We have many fond memories from our friendship with John over the decades and were saddened to hear of his passing.

This is very hard to say, to Johnny or better known as Poppy Johnny you were there for me from a very young age.
You shaped me the way I am today. I definitely got my work ethic from you but I will never be as hard a worker as you were.
You was always there when I needed a helping hand and I wish I was there more to help out.
Morgan adores you and talks about you and your tractor every day, I just wish Henley got to experience that and go for rides like Morgan.

It was sad day pruning that day. John always called in to see what was happening, his vast knowledge of the workings of a fruit block was always a help. He should have written a book. We will miss him especially during picking at Peter’s and Elaine’s. Condolences to the family. RIP
