ALLAN, Margaret Jean (née Campbell)

Passed away October 10, 2021.

It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Margaret at Bupa Aged Care, after a long illness, on October 10, 2021, aged 84 years.

Loved wife of Keith Smith (dec) and Robert Allan.  Loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Trudie and Les, Jeannine and Nadine.  Nanna of Jessica, Hannah, Lachlan, Keith, Trevor and Brian, and great-grandmother of Olivia.

Funeral Notice

Due to the imposed COVID-19 restrictions, funeral attendance is by invitation only.  Livestream will be available to view on the link below from 2.00pm on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

The funeral stream will be viewable again after the service has completed.

A second mum to me in my young years..Always had so much respect for you…A wonderful lady who loved kids & looked after so many in her days of child care..We would always have a laugh about something ..You taught me to drive & wasn’t that a giggle… So many memories,all good…Deepest sympathy to All the family..XX

  5. Marg was not your stereotypical mother-in-law.. She was always welcoming to me from the start and usually took my side in any ‘debate’. She told me she judged men by their shoes – if good and shiny etc, then they were OK. I always made sure I had good shoes! RIP Marg. You will always be remembered with love.

  7. Dear Aunty Marg, I didn’t get to spend much time with you and Bob, but when I did it was awesome – so funny, lots of great stories and great advice. Some of that advice I’ve past onto my step-daughters. A cherished memory of mine is the wake at your place, that followed Mama’s funeral. It was lovely to spend time with the greater Campbell clan. You will be dearly missed and I wish you could have met my son (Ottar Campbell-Hewitt).

  8. Marg you were a truly beautiful human. I felt special that you were able to look after Jeremy when it was necessary for me t o return to work for 12 months. Although Jeremy was very little ,he still remembers you. You made an impression on all who met you. Love to all your family, Ros Burns.
